Our Favorite Monsters are Back in Action in 2023! Disney+ has unveiled the spectacular voice cast for season two of Monsters at Work. This is exciting news for fans eagerly awaiting the return of Mike, Sulley, and friends from the hit Monsters, Inc. franchise.

Iconic Duo Returns 20 Years After First Film

We follow the further adventures of Mike, Sulley, and their colleagues as they take on the new task of harvesting children’s laughter.

What is Monsters at Work About?

For those who missed season one, Monsters at Work picks up chronologically after the events of Monsters, Inc. It follows life at the Monstropolis plant as they begin harvesting children’s laughter instead of screams.

This is a huge change for the factory employees, especially recent Monsters University grad Tylor Tuskmon. He dreamed of scaring kids, but now has to adapt to the new goal of making them laugh instead.

Throughout the episodes, Tylor tries to find his place among the experienced team of Mike, Sulley, Fritz, Duncan, and Cutter. They all face fresh challenges getting used to collecting positive energy rather than fueling nightmares.

Release Date Still a Secret

So far, Disney+ has not announced an exact premiere date for season two of Monsters at Work. All we know is it’s arriving sometime in 2023 on the streaming platform.

Fans will have to be patient for now before discovering the next adventures of our beloved monsters. In the meantime, they can rewatch season one of the series and the original Monsters, Inc. film on Disney+.

It’s clear this second season promises plenty of surprises. With all these stars joining the cast, Mike, Sulley and friends are sure to deliver some hilarious new escapades. See you in 2023 for more laughs with our favorite monsters!
