It’s causing a buzz among Disney fans! New images of the inside of Disneyland Hotel were unveiled during the Destination D23 event organized by the Official Disney Fan Club in Florida. We’ll take you on a tour of this iconic Disneyland Paris hotel, which will reopen its doors in the first quarter of 2024 after a royal transformation worthy of a fairy tale.
A Sumptuous Lobby Inspired by a Royal Library
Let’s start the tour with the majestic lobby of Disneyland Hotel. Thomas Müller, an imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, guides us through the construction site of what will soon become the ultimate start to a stay in Mickey’s world. We are left speechless by the images of the lobby, directly inspired by a gigantic royal library.
The teams are working tirelessly to ensure everything is ready by 2024. We can already see the structure of the monumental chandelier that will illuminate the space. It’s hard to dream of a more beautiful invitation to travel! This grandiose set design will set the tone for the exceptional experience that awaits hotel guests.
The Royal Banquet Restaurant: A Feast for the Eyes
Another key spot in the newly renovated Disneyland Hotel: the Royal Banquet restaurant. The concept is mouthwatering: it will be like stepping into the reception hall of a real palace, to take part in a sumptuous royal banquet. The decor promises to be breathtaking, with four distinct rooms. Each will be dedicated to a different facet of Disney royalty.
We can’t wait to discover these new worlds, which will showcase classics like The Princess and the Frog, Robin Hood and Emperor’s New Groove. Even secondary characters will get their own personal touch! For example, Chef Louis from The Little Mermaid will be highlighted in the decor.
In short, between the tapestries, gilding and beautiful paintings, our taste buds and eyes will be delighted. The Royal Banquet will be THE Instagram spot of the resort.
The Rotonda Sublimated by a New Enchanting Ceiling
The rotonda of Disneyland Hotel was already magnificent. But it will gain even more splendor with its entirely repainted ceiling, unveiled for the first time at Destination D23.
This centerpiece epitomizes the spirit and atmosphere of the hotel on its own. It symbolizes the journey through cultures and time that underpins the concept of the place. It’s hard to dream of a more enchanting decor to perfect the magic of a Disneyland Paris stay.
Opening Planned for Early 2024
The exact opening date of the renovated Disneyland Hotel has not yet been officially announced. But we already know it will be in the first quarter of 2024, as stated by Disneyland Paris. On September 12, reservations will open and the long-awaited date will finally be revealed!
In the meantime, we are enjoying the construction site images showing great progress. Everything suggests this Disneyland Paris gem will be ready in time to welcome us in early 2024. Nothing but happiness ahead!
