These iconic attractions will soon be back at Disneyland Paris

Hear ye, hear ye, good people! We have news that will delight young and old alike. On August 30, the doors of the Land of Fairy Tales will reopen at Disneyland Paris after several months of renovation. It’s the perfect opportunity to rediscover this iconic attraction in Fantasyland and marvel at its new fairy-tale settings.
Three new scenes from Disney and Pixar films
To celebrate its 30th anniversary in style, The Land of Fairy Tales offers itself a beautiful gift by welcoming three new scenes inspired by Disney animated films Frozen and Winnie the Pooh, as well as the Pixar film Up.
During our peaceful cruise, we will be able to admire:
- The majestic Northern Mountain and its sumptuous Ice Palace of Elsa
- Carl Fredricksen’s house flying above the spectacular Paradise Falls
- The adorable cabin of Winnie the Pooh nestled in a corner of the Hundred Acre Wood
A lovely nod to the heroes that make our childhood hearts beat. But that’s not all! The new poster for the attraction reveals other surprises awaiting visitors:
- A mysterious precious stone reminiscent of Snow White’s universe
- A delicate snow crystal in homage to Elsa, the Snow Queen
- A sparkling sun to transport us into the world of Rapunzel
- An iridescent seashell evoking Ariel’s underwater kingdom
So many promises of wonder for this journey through the world of fairy tales!
Behind the scenes of a XXL rehabilitation
This extensive renovation is the result of flawless collaboration between the teams of Walt Disney Imagineering, the central workshops, and the Horticulture, Design & Delivery service of Disneyland Paris. All worked hand in hand to bring life and brilliance back to this beloved attraction.
At this very moment, the final touches are being made. The majestic giant book that serves as a sign for the attraction has just been put back in place after a complete makeover. Its new design highlights the different stories to discover along the water. While the right page retains its original illustration, subtle changes have been made, especially in the colors of the binding and the title.
But the most striking addition is a superb frame around the pages, adorned with portraits of the iconic characters of the attraction. A beautiful way to invite young and old to dive into the Disney magic at first glance!
The surrounding floors have also been given a makeover to welcome visitors into an even more immersive and enchanting setting. Nothing has been left to chance to make this cruise an unforgettable moment.
A renewed partnership with Vittel
As part of its reopening, The Land of Fairy Tales is proud to welcome Vittel as its official sponsor. This collaboration strengthens the historical ties between Disneyland Paris and the famous mineral water brand.
Beyond the new sign, Vittel’s presence is subtly integrated throughout the journey, from the queue to the boarding area. The incorporation of elements in the brand’s colors recalls the vital role that water has played in inspiring Disney stories since always.
Through artistic and playful installations, young and old will be able to discover water in a new light, as a precious source of life and creativity. A poetic way to celebrate this partnership throughout the experience.
Casey Jr. also sets off for new adventures
Let’s not forget that another gem of Fantasyland is also making its grand return on August 30: Casey Jr. – The Circus Train! After a well-deserved facelift, our favorite locomotive is ready to take us on a joyful journey through the countryside.
So get ready to rediscover these two Disneyland Paris classics at the end of summer. The 2024 version of The Land of Fairy Tales and Casey Jr. are waiting for you to share their brand new magic!
