The Disney Symphony of Colours will begin in January 2024 at Disneyland Paris. On the program: drone show, musical parade with colorful floats, and fairy tale decorations on Main Street. Here’s what you need to know.

This year, Disneyland Paris has an explosion of colors in store for us with the launch of the Disney Symphony of Colours. This unmissable event will begin in January 2024 and brighten up our winters. We reveal everything you need to know about this new park event: dates, show details, prices, and planned decorations.

Kickoff on January 8th with a drone show

The Disney Symphony of Colours will kick off on January 8th, 2024 with the launch of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade. This is a breathtaking nighttime show combining drones, fountains, lights, and projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle. Up to 500 drones will fly over the park forming light floats, an homage to the former Main Street Electrical Parade presented between 1992 and 2003.

This cutting-edge technology is developed with Dronisos, a long-time partner of Disneyland Paris. The drones will recreate iconic characters like Mickey, the dragon Elliott, and Cinderella. The parade’s iconic music will also be revisited for the occasion.

In short, a magnificent tribute to a vintage park show, reinterpreted in a high-tech, fairy tale way. The perfect way to start the year off with a bang!

A new daytime show from February

On February 10th, 2024, a second show will complement the Disney Symphony of Colours. Entitled “A Million Splashes of Colour”, this daytime show will be performed daily on Central Plaza. It will pay tribute to Disney and Pixar classics, from Snow White to the latest hits.

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and other iconic mascots will reunite for a high-energy musical moment. They will be accompanied by Disney and Pixar characters like Moana, Encanto’s Mirabel, or the new character Asha.

Three colorful floats will celebrate art, music, and storytelling so dear to Disney. The dazzling costumes of the dancers and the vibrant set designs will complete this joyful, family-friendly spectacle.

Musically, some of the greatest Disney/Pixar hits will be remixed for the occasion: Whistle While You Work, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, We Don’t Talk About Bruno. A delight for all generations!

Enchanting decorations on Main Street

In addition to the shows, the Disney Symphony of Colours will also come to life through dazzling decorations on Main Street starting February 10th. The famous avenue will be adorned with multicolored flowers in an Art Nouveau style.

Tinkerbell and other Disney characters will be honored on buildings and street furniture. Over 50 heroes will be portrayed in these unique ornaments designed by Disneyland Paris’ creative teams. A jewel of craftsmanship achieved in collaboration with French artisans.

Pricing and availability

These brand new experiences will be included in the regular park ticket price for Disneyland Paris. For adults, prices range from €80 to €100 depending on dates and ticket types. The nighttime drone show will run from January 8th to September 30th, 2024. The daytime show and decorations will be available from February 10th to May 5th, 2024.

An event to brighten up the coldest months

The period from January to April is usually the coldest time of the year in the Île-de-France region. Average temperatures hover around 5°C in January and gradually climb to 11°C in April. Although days grow steadily longer, the weather remains harsh, with rain showers and gusts of wind.

Luckily, the Disney Symphony of Colours is timed perfectly to warm hearts during these bitter months! Nothing lifts spirits like a big, illuminated, colorful show. The fairy tale decorations on Main Street will also contribute to the magic, for an enchanting interlude.

The event takes place in the dead of winter, but there’s no chance dreary weather will ruin the party. Disney has planned for kids and adults alike to fully enjoy the festivities. Note however that programming may change or be cancelled in case of bad weather. But don’t worry, the Disney Symphony of Colours will return to brighten up your winters for many years to come!

Convinced? This event promises to liven up our grey winters and transport us back to childhood. See you in early 2024 for a magical, colorful start of the year at Disneyland Paris!
